Vice
L.O.V.E.R. I'll see you later... sings a young Johnny Borrell. He has this adolescent charm about him, with longer and messy hair, but hey, his voice is as sexy as ever.
Golden Touch
They're just jealous, they'll never do the things that they wish they could do so well. Johnny sports an 80s New York punk hairdo. Ok, i don't know anything about hairstyles, but i do know he still oozes sexiness. Also note the killer guitars on this irresistible song on an obsessed fascination about a girl with a golden touch.
Somewhere Else
When i saw you there, it was the first time, and you just walked on by, i was catched in the sparks that flew from your heels, trying to catch your eye... Trademark wavy mid-length hair. Whatever. As long as the voice retains his trademark raw sexiness and the guitars their killer edge.
In the morning
In the morning, you know we won't remember a thing... First single from their new self-titled LP and Johnny got his hair cut. Left with short curls. You know what i think... Great drums on this song. And the energy is still there.

Together In The Darkness - Hederos & Hellberg
If you're looking for a dark romantic soundtrack to an evening with your special someone, look no further than the Swedish duo Hederos & Hellberg. Perfect to induce intimacy!
I'll be on the water - Akron/Family
Watching a video of a live concert is a bit like looking at artefacts from a distant land, a past time... in a museum. Maybe not the most obvious comparison. What i mean is that it's the next best thing to the real thing. Obviously. It's both enjoyable and frustrating. Enjoyable because you get a glimpse of a show you didn't or couldn't see. Frustrating because it's only a glimpse which fails to carry how you get immersed in the music during a live gig. Still, here's a video of this track by Akron/Family which manages to convey how beautiful and soothing the song is...
Be Gentle With Me - The Boy Least Likely To
The Boy Least Likely To's message of love to the world! No way this video won't leave you with a smile on the lips and the mind...
Oh Mandy - The Spinto Band
So catchy it takes fire... Youthful, playful, wonderful! I mean the song and the video of the Spinto Band.
Love's Lost - Thomas Dybdahl
One of the many beautiful songs by Thomas Dybdahl... His music is deceptively simple and it spellbinds you without realizing. It's been the soundtrack of my life this summer and well, we are having an indian summer... His 4th LP Science will be released soon and he'll be touring throughout Europe. I'm gonna see him live next month. Can't wait!
Ooh la...
First contribution: one of my current favorites, the Kooks' Ooh la, a catchy tune that carries all the energy and insouciance of adolescence. The video is one of the wicked "Take away concerts" organized by the Blogotheque. Have a look at their website if you're not already familiar with it!
A little help to kill time...
This is what this blog will try to offer. Ideas of good music, movies, books, art, food... and i mean GOOD ones. Anyway, that's the hope. So that killing time is more than just killing time.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
